Interquim is a Mexican pharmaceutical chemical company specialized in the manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
Headquartered in Mexico and guided by an internationally oriented leadership team, we have established ourselves as a global reference in the production of vitamin B12 derivatives, antibiotics, and high value-added molecules for the pharmaceutical industry. Interquim through the years

Currently

  • Interquim was acquired in December 2021 by a Mexican private equity fund.
  • The construction of a second small-scale plant was recently completed to expand production capacity for small molecules.
  • A new strategic focus has been established, centered on customized manufacturing and the development of strategic partnerships.

2015. Creating new international opportunities

  • International executives joined the company’s leadership team.
  • We positioned ourselves as leaders in the production of vitamin B12 derivatives and niche products.
  • A gram-scale pilot laboratory was built for GMP clinical trial materials.
  • We created new opportunities for established products and new molecules.

2001. Relocation of the plant to a new site

  • 2001: Relocation of the manufacturing plant to a new site.
  • 2001: Interquim moved to its current location.
  • 2005: A small-scale production plant was constructed.
  • 2012: Greater focus was placed on the vitamin B12 production line with the construction of a plant dedicated specifically to this purpose.

1970. Interquim is founded

  • Interquim was founded in 1970 and was acquired in 1984 by a Swiss-Italian family, focusing on the production of vitamin B12 derivatives.

  • Interquim fue adquirida en diciembre de 2021 por un fondo de capital privado mexicano.
  • Recientemente se completó la construcción de una segunda planta a pequeña escala para aumentar la capacidad de producción de moléculas pequeñas.
  • Se genera un nuevo enfoque centrado en la personalización de fabricación y establecer asociaciones estratégicas.
  • Se incorporan directivos internacionales a la compañía.
  • Nos posicionamos líderes en la producción de derivados de vitamina B12 y productos de nicho.
  • Se construye un laboratorio piloto a escala de gramal para productos de ensayo clínico GMP.
  • Creamos nuevas oportunidades para productos establecidos y nuevas moléculas.
  • 2001: Interquim es trasladada a la ubicación actual.
  • 2005: Se construye una planta de producción a pequeña escala.
  • 2012: Se incrementa el enfoque en la línea de producción de vitamina B12 mediante la construcción de una planta dedicada específicamente a este fin.
  • Interquim fue fundada en 1970 y en 1984 fue adquirida por una familia suizo-italiana, centrándose en la producción de derivados de la vitamina B12.
